The Dominance was the flagship of Grand Admiral Kato when he attempted his coup during the reign of the Emperor-Primarch Aeaolen Kicka™. The Dominance was one of the very few surviving Executor-class Super Star Destroyers to remain within the galaxy. However with it's destruction several design flaws were found within it and the Empire begun immediately researching ways to improve their technology; however an upgraded Executor would not be created until 258 ABY by Commandant-Generel Straum and the Imperial Department of Military and Civilian Research.
